I Adore You-Valentine’s Day Edition

We haven’t been on a date since my birthday last August 2018 and while that may seem like forever and a day to many, this is just our reality. I was so excited for this night that I went out and got a new dress, applied some make-up and well, my hair was already done from the week before in a protective style.

We went to Scaddabush restaurant for dinner and there we spent time talking and catching up in a way that we haven’t be able to do during our usual busy week. The restaurant was as busy as can be but the food and drinks were delicious and the vibe was just right. Keith surprised me with a card filled with fresh rose petals and when we walked out to the car, there was a bouquet of fresh flowers waiting for me in the passenger seat.

We finished off the night by going to the movies to see What Men Want. As much as I would love to say I enjoyed the movie, your girl was exhausted and fell asleep about 25 minutes in. Keith, on the other hand, watched it from start to finish and said it was pretty good.

The plan was to pick Charlotte up from her Aunt’s later that night but she ended up sleeping over which allowed us to have some more quality time. Like I said before, our quality time outside of Charlotte isn’t frequent but when we do have it, it’s amazing. Although we missed having her with us, it was fun to get all dolled up and go on a date without our little munchkin in tow. And so, I am pleased to say that it was another successful Valentine’s Day celebration that we both enjoyed !

Whatever your Love Day looked like, I hope you had an amazing one and enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed ours!

Xx See you all next week!
